Day 1 Upon arrival at Havana Jose Marti International Airport you will be met and assisted by your tour representative who will co-ordinate your transfer to your accommodation and orientate you with local arrangements (included in tour price). 

The following is a suggested optional itinerary, which you can arrange with your tour representative in Havana. 

• Day 2 Today join a Salsa Dance class in the morning followed by an afternoon guided tour of old Havana including visits to museums and cigar factory ending with stepping out to the rhythms of a live Salsa Cuban band at the famous Casa del la Musica nightclub. 
• Day 3 Historical and romantic excursion in the afternoon to Hemingway’s house and some of his favourite haunts ending with dinner at a typical Cuban restaurant followed by canon shooting ceremony at the El Moro Castle. If you liked last nights Salsa event why not experience more live music and dancing at one of Havana’s vibrant night venues. 
• Day 4 Chill-out at one of the beaches east of Havana. Tonight explore some of Havana’s street cafes and bars or maybe take in some jazz or a ballet. 
• Day 5 A lavish show this evening at the Cabaret Parisien, in the Hotel Nacional. 
• Day 6 Spend a day at one of Cuba’s ecological beauty spots in Vinales Valley with lunch included and a boat ride in the spectacular El Indio Cave formations. 
• Day 7 Make your way from Havana today by air-conditioned tour bus on a five-hour journey to the old Spanish colonial town of Trinidad. 

Suggested optional itinerary in Trinidad. 

• Day 7 Try one of the family restaurants where local lobster dishes are a speciality and take in the excellent nightlife. 
• Day 8 Walking tour of Trinidad this morning to see all the sights. Chill-out on the beach this afternoon. 
• Day 9 Highly recommended – excursion by horseback or all-terrain vehicle in the surrounding mountains and swim at a waterfall. 
• Day 10 Take a sail on a catamaran out to the reefs and go snorkelling and later watch the sunset whilst enjoying a cool Cuba Libre on the beach. 
• Day 11 For the more adventurous today ask about possible options such as a boat trip to one of the outlying islands, fishing or scuba diving. 
• Day 12 Your day to do as you please, relax and re-energise, souvenir hunting, rum drinking, cigar smoking, saying goodbye to friends you’ve met before returning to Havana tomorrow. 

Day 13 Make your way by air-conditioned tour bus for journey back to Havana and overnight in accommodation. 

Day 14 Free day to say goodbye to friends, develop your photos in 1-hour labs, maybe more shopping for souvenirs, gifts of rum and cigars or one of the colourful painted pictures from the Art Market to hang on your wall at home to remind you of a great holiday experience. Make your way to the airport for flight home.
